Three of our New Hope Dance Company members were selected to perform in the Baltimore Ballet’s presentation of the Nutcracker. They had been practicing hard every weekend for several months and their time to shine came on Sunday, when the Nutcracker Ballet was performed in Baltimore.
Ms. Valeria Ivleva, who teaches ballet to the Dance Company members, had a leading role in the performance as the Snow Queen and in the second act as Dewdrop. She gave a remarkable and radiant performance.
New Hope Dance Company member, Bedelina Miller danced the solo ‘Arabian’, Amber Matos danced the part of ‘Marzipan’ and Isabel Gonzales danced the part of ‘Chinese’ in the ‘Land of Sweets’. The girls also had several other parts in the ballet.
Congratulations to all the Company dancers who gave amazing performances!
